How our YUL airport service works
Airport transfers are the service we handle every day — early morning departures, late-night arrivals, international flights, business travelers on tight schedules, and families landing after long-haul journeys. Here’s exactly how it works.
We track your flight
The moment you book, your flight number goes into our dispatch system. Our chauffeur monitors the flight before pickup — if you land 45 minutes early, we’re there. If your flight is delayed by two hours, we’re still there. No wasted trips, no missed pickups. Complimentary wait time is included with every arrival: 30 minutes for domestic flights, 60 minutes for international flights, measured from the flight’s actual landing time, not the scheduled time.
Meet-and-greet at the terminal
Your chauffeur meets you inside Montréal-Trudeau’s arrivals hall with a name sign, walks you to the vehicle, and handles your luggage. You don’t stand outside in the cold looking for a driver, and you don’t try to describe a vehicle over the phone while jet-lagged. For departures, the chauffeur arrives at your pickup point ahead of the booked time, helps load luggage, and gets you to the correct YUL terminal without you having to think about parking, drop-off zones, or Highway 20 traffic.
Flat rates, not meters
Airport transfers are billed as flat rates, not by the hour or by the meter. Your quote is the price. Traffic on the Champlain Bridge, a delayed flight within the included wait window, or an extra 10 minutes at the terminal don’t change what you pay. Every flat rate includes your Class 4C chauffeur, fuel and vehicle costs, commercial passenger insurance, flight tracking and meet-and-greet, luggage handling, TPS and TVQ (Quebec sales taxes), and standard vehicle amenities.
Sample flat rates from YUL
Rates below are illustrative starting points for a Lincoln Town Car — actual rates depend on exact pickup/drop-off, vehicle selected, time of day, and passenger count. Every quote is fixed once confirmed.
| From YUL to | Sample flat rate (Lincoln Town Car) |
|---|---|
| Downtown Montreal / Old Montreal | $[X] |
| Westmount / Outremont / TMR | $[X] |
| West Island (Pointe-Claire, Kirkland, DDO) | $[X] |
| Laval | $[X] |
| Longueuil / Brossard / South Shore | $[X] |
| North Shore (Terrebonne, Blainville) | $[X] |
| Mont-Tremblant | $[X] |
| Quebec City | $[X] |
| Ottawa (city centre) | $[X] |
For larger groups or luggage-heavy arrivals, our Lincoln MKT, Jet Sprinter, and Shuttle Sprinter carry different flat rates.
Vehicles for your airport transfer
Not every airport transfer needs the same vehicle. Here’s how we typically match vehicle to booking:
- 1–3 passengers with light luggage → Lincoln Town Car — the classic executive sedan for business travelers
- 1–4 passengers with more luggage → Lincoln MKT — extra interior space, ideal for international arrivals
- Family or small group (5–8) with luggage → Jet Sprinter — executive-styled Sprinter with room for the group and the bags
- Larger group (8+) → Shuttle Sprinter — group configuration for wedding guests, corporate teams, or families
- VIP arrival → Rolls-Royce Phantom — for the arrivals that call for a statement

International arrivals & luggage
International arrivals at Montréal-Trudeau go through customs, baggage claim, and CBSA before reaching the arrivals hall — a process that can take anywhere from 20 minutes to over an hour depending on flight volume.
Here’s what we do differently for international arrivals:
- Extended complimentary wait time — 60 minutes from actual landing, so customs delays don’t cost you
- Meet-and-greet inside the arrivals hall — your chauffeur waits with a sign at the international arrivals doors
- Luggage capacity confirmed at quote stage — for arrivals with multiple checked bags, we’ll match the right vehicle (typically the Lincoln MKT or a Sprinter) so nothing gets left behind
- Multilingual chauffeurs — our team serves you in English or French; other language support available on request
If you’re arriving on an overnight flight from Europe or an early-morning connection from Asia, tell us at booking — we’ll match a chauffeur who’s ready for the terminal and a vehicle configured for the luggage load.

Winter airport transfers in Montreal
Montreal winters run November through March, and Highway 20 to YUL doesn’t stop for snow. Neither do we.
Every vehicle in our fleet operates through Quebec winters with:
- Winter tires installed December 1 through March 15, in compliance with Quebec’s winter tire mandate
- All-wheel-drive Sprinter options for long-distance transfers to Mont-Tremblant, Quebec City, or Ottawa in snow conditions
- Weather-buffered scheduling — for morning departures during forecasted storms, we contact you the evening before to confirm pickup timing
We don’t cancel airport transfers because of snow. If a storm forces a schedule change, we notify you before your booked pickup time, not after you’re already worrying about your flight.
For early-morning YUL departures in January, February, or after a heavy snowfall — this is where booking a chauffeur pays for itself. You don’t shovel out your car at 4 AM, you don’t slide through Décarie in the dark, and you don’t miss your flight because you couldn’t find an Uber.
Long-distance transfers from YUL
We regularly run long-distance flat-rate transfers between YUL and:
- Mont-Tremblant — ~130 km north via Highway 15
- Quebec City — ~250 km east via Highway 20
- Ottawa — ~200 km southwest via Highway 40
- Eastern Townships (Cantons-de-l’Est) — wineries, resorts, and vacation properties
- Vermont border crossings — for onward travel to Burlington, Stowe, or beyond
Long-distance flat rates include everything in a standard YUL transfer (chauffeur, fuel, insurance, luggage, taxes) plus the return leg for the chauffeur. No hourly meter runs on long-distance transfers.
For groups traveling together — wedding parties, corporate retreats, family vacations — the Shuttle Sprinter or Jet Sprinter is typically the vehicle of choice.

Corporate accounts & repeat travelers
For clients booking regularly — executives, sales teams, law firms, consultants, corporate event organizers — we offer corporate account setup:
- Direct invoicing (monthly billing, NET 15 or NET 30 terms)
- Dedicated dispatch contact for your organization
- Account-level reporting (bookings, spend, employee usage)
- Priority availability during peak dates
- Consistent chauffeur assignments where possible, so your regular business travelers see a familiar face
Call (514) 717-9922 or email info@elitelimousinesmtl.com to set up a corporate account. Setup takes one conversation and a signed service agreement.
Saint-Hubert Airport (YHU)
We also serve Montréal Saint-Hubert Longueuil Airport (YHU) — Porter, Pascan, and private charter flights. YHU service works the same as our YUL service: flat rates, flight tracking, meet-and-greet, transparent quotes.
For private jet arrivals and departures at YHU, meet-and-greet at the FBO (fixed-base operator) is handled directly with the operator on request.
