Our story
Elite Limousines Montreal was founded in 2010 by Andrew, a Montrealer who saw a gap between what luxury transportation promised and what it actually delivered.
When Andrew started the company, the city’s chauffeur market was crowded with brokers and aggregators who quoted one price, sent whatever vehicle happened to be free, and were hard to reach when something went wrong. He set out to build the opposite: a company that owns its cars, employs its drivers, and stands behind every booking.
The way the company operates today was shaped early — by a wedding. A couple’s original operator cancelled at the last minute, and Elite stepped in with only hours to spare. That day made three priorities permanent: keep a backup vehicle ready, confirm every detail in writing, and never treat a client’s most important day as just another job.
Since then the company has grown into an owned fleet of eight luxury vehicles and a bilingual team of Class 4C chauffeurs, serving weddings, airport transfers, corporate travel, and celebrations across Greater Montreal.
Since day one, one principle has guided how we operate: the vehicle arrives on time, the invoice matches the quote, and the chauffeur is a professional who takes the responsibility seriously. That’s still the standard today.
Licensed, insured, and locally accountable
Anyone can call themselves a limousine service. Very few Montreal operators publish their regulatory credentials openly. We do — because if you’re trusting us with your wedding day, your international arrival, or your family’s night out, you deserve to see the paperwork.
CTQ operating permit
Elite Limousines Montreal holds a valid limousine operating permit issued by the Commission des transports du Québec (CTQ) — the provincial authority that regulates chauffeured passenger transport in Quebec.

Commercial insurance
We carry full commercial passenger insurance through a licensed Quebec insurer, covering passengers, luggage, and third-party liability on every ride we operate.
Certificate of insurance available on request for corporate clients, wedding venues, and event organizers.

Registered Quebec business in good standing, operating under a valid Numéro d’entreprise du Québec (NEQ).

Meet our chauffeurs
Every Elite Limousines chauffeur holds Quebec’s Class 4C commercial driver’s licence — the licence required to legally operate a chauffeured limousine in this province. Every driver passes a background check before joining, receives training on our service standards, and serves you in English or French.
Our team of Class 4C chauffeurs is bilingual, background-checked, and trained to our internal service standards. Every chauffeur assigned to your booking is a direct Elite Limousines employee — never a subcontractor. Meet the team in person by appointment at our office.
We own the vehicles we drive
Elite Limousines Montreal operates an owned fleet of eight luxury vehicles — from the Rolls-Royce Phantom for once-in-a-lifetime arrivals to the Antique Princess for classic weddings, the Lincoln Navigator Stretch and Lincoln Town Car for executive and event service, both the Jet Sprinter and Shuttle Sprinter for group transport, the Lincoln MKT, and our Party Bus for group celebrations.
Owning our fleet matters. It means when you book with us, we know each vehicle’s maintenance history, we control the cleaning and standards, and we can guarantee the vehicle you saw on our site is the vehicle that arrives — not a subcontracted substitution from a broker network.
Every vehicle is maintained on a documented service schedule and equipped with winter tires from December 1 through March 15, in compliance with Quebec’s winter tire mandate.

Backup vehicle policy
For weddings, proms, and other time-critical bookings, we keep a backup vehicle on standby. It’s how we’ve maintained our on-time record, and it’s why we don’t lose sleep over Saturdays in June.

Our chauffeurs pick up and drop off across the Island of Montreal, the North Shore (Rive-Nord), the South Shore (Rive-Sud), and long-distance routes across southern Quebec.

Long-distance routes: Mont-Tremblant, Quebec City, Ottawa, and the Eastern Townships (Cantons-de-l’Est) wineries.
