The one day you can’t afford a “we’re running late” call

Wedding transportation isn’t a limousine booking. It’s a coordinated sequence — the bride’s home, the ceremony, the photo stops, the reception, and the exit — with a photographer working to a schedule, a venue that won’t hold your slot, and family members counting on the timeline.

Every wedding we transport comes with:

  • A pre-wedding consultation to build the day’s timeline together
  • A backup vehicle on standby for the peak of wedding season
  • Multi-vehicle coordination if you’re booking the bridal car, the bridal party, and guest shuttles
  • A chauffeur assigned to your wedding specifically — the same person you meet in consultation is the one who drives the day
  • Your quote is honored on the day — no wedding-day surprise fees

We’ve built this company on doing weddings right. If the vehicle doesn’t arrive on time, our reputation doesn’t survive it. That’s the standard.

Vehicles built for the Montreal wedding day

Our fleet includes eight vehicles, each suited to a different part of the wedding day. Below are the vehicles we most commonly assign to weddings.

Our flagship

Rolls-Royce Phantom

Our flagship — and one of the reasons couples book us specifically. The Rolls-Royce Phantom is the wedding vehicle when the arrival itself is part of the story. Notre-Dame Basilica ceremonies, luxury hotel receptions, and couples who want the vehicle to be photographed alongside them — this is that car.

Best for: The bride and groom’s ceremony arrival, reception entrance, and post-reception exit.

Vintage wedding car

Antique Princess

Vintage elegance in a car built to photograph. The Antique Princess is chosen by couples who want the timeless film-still look — the black-and-white portrait outside the church, the getaway shot at the end of the night. It photographs beautifully in every light, at every venue.

Best for: Vintage-themed weddings, wedding portraits at Old Montreal cobblestones or the Old Port, engagement shoots.

For the bridal party

Lincoln Navigator Stretch Limousine

Our stretch SUV limousine for the bridal party. Room for bridesmaids in full dresses, the best men, and enough interior space that nobody arrives at the ceremony wrinkled. Standard for wedding parties who want to travel together.

Best for: The bridal party’s transport between the getting-ready venue, ceremony, photo stops, and reception.

For larger wedding parties

Jet Sprinter & Shuttle Sprinter

For larger wedding parties, out-of-town family transport, and bridal party arrangements that don’t fit a single stretch. The Jet Sprinter offers executive styling for parents of the couple and VIP guests; the Shuttle Sprinter handles larger group transfers.

Best for: Extended bridal parties, immediate family transport, VIP guest transfers.

For out-of-town guests

Lincoln Town Car & MKT

For out-of-town wedding guests arriving at YUL — parents flying in, distant family, wedding party members traveling from Toronto or New York — our executive sedans handle airport transfers with the same standards as the wedding day itself.

Best for: Airport transfers for wedding guests, small VIP arrivals to the ceremony, post-reception rides for parents of the couple.

How we plan your wedding day transportation

We don’t just show up on the day. Every wedding we handle goes through the same planning process — because the difference between a wedding that runs on time and one that doesn’t is the work done in the weeks before it.

1

Pre-wedding consultation

Once you book, we schedule a consultation — in person at our office, by phone, or by video call — to build the day together. We ask about the ceremony venue and time, the reception venue and expected timing, photo locations and how much time you’re allotting, the number of vehicles you need, who’s riding in what, and any special requests. You leave the consultation knowing exactly what the day looks like.

2

Route and timeline planning

Between consultation and the wedding day, we build a written timeline for your chauffeur (or chauffeurs, for multi-vehicle bookings). Every pickup, every stop, every drop-off is scheduled with time buffers for Montreal traffic, weather, and the reality that ceremonies sometimes run 15 minutes late. If you’re working with a wedding planner, we coordinate directly with them.

3

The wedding day itself

Your chauffeur arrives ahead of the pickup window. Vehicle is clean, fueled, climate-controlled, and ready. If you’ve booked multiple vehicles, they arrive coordinated — not one at 2:30 and another at 2:45. Between stops, the chauffeur communicates with the wedding planner or the day-of contact. Nobody asks the couple to solve problems on their wedding day.

4

Backup vehicle on standby

For every wedding booking, a backup vehicle is on standby during the peak of Montreal’s wedding season. If something mechanical happens to your assigned vehicle — vanishingly rare, but not impossible — we substitute immediately with an equivalent or upgraded vehicle at no additional cost. This is the reason our wedding on-time record is what it is.

No wedding surcharge

Some limousine companies charge a “wedding rate” that’s 20–50% higher than their standard hourly rate — same vehicle, same chauffeur, higher price because the word “wedding” appeared on the booking form.

We don’t.

Wedding rates use our standard hourly structure. Wedding packages, when you choose one, bundle multiple vehicles and hours at a transparent rate — not an inflated one.

The only thing that changes on a wedding booking is that we do more work in advance. The consultation, the timeline planning, the backup vehicle coordination — that’s included, not surcharged.

Montreal wedding venues we serve

We regularly transport couples to and from Montreal’s principal wedding venues, including:

Downtown & Old Montreal

  • Le Windsor
  • MarchĂ© Bonsecours
  • Auberge Saint-Gabriel
  • Le St-James
  • The Ritz-Carlton MontrĂ©al
  • Fairmont Le Reine Elizabeth
  • Four Seasons MontrĂ©al
  • HĂ´tel William Gray
  • HĂ´tel Nelligan

Ceremony locations

  • Notre-Dame Basilica (Vieux-MontrĂ©al)
  • Saint Joseph’s Oratory / Oratoire Saint-Joseph
  • Christ Church Cathedral
  • Various parish churches across the West Island, Laval, and the South Shore

Off-island and destination venues

  • Golf clubs (Beaconsfield, Elm Ridge, Laval-sur-le-Lac)
  • Eastern Townships vineyards (Dunham, Rougemont)
  • Château Bromont, Estrimont, and other Cantons-de-l’Est venues
  • Mont-Tremblant destination weddings

If your venue isn’t listed, we’ve likely served it — or a venue very close to it. Ask.

Wedding photo stops we know well

Montreal is one of the most photogenic cities in North America for wedding portraits — and we know which routes work, which parking situations are handled, and which spots take the light best.

Common photo stops we build into wedding timelines:

  • Old Port / Vieux-Port de MontrĂ©al — cobblestones, waterfront, industrial-romantic backdrops
  • Old Montreal streets — narrow cobblestone lanes, historic building facades
  • Mount Royal Cross (Croix du Mont-Royal) — the classic panoramic city shot
  • Saint Joseph’s Oratory — dramatic staircase and dome for wide portraits
  • Botanical Garden / Jardin botanique — seasonal florals, especially spring and fall
  • Habitat 67 — architectural drama for modern-styled couples
  • Downtown skyline shots — from Mount Royal BelvĂ©dère

Your photographer knows the shots they want. We know how to get you between them without stress.

Guest shuttles and out-of-town arrivals

For weddings drawing family from Ontario, the US, or overseas — we coordinate the whole guest transportation picture, not just the couple’s ride.

Guest shuttles

Our Shuttle Sprinter and Party Bus move wedding guests between the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception — especially for multi-venue weddings or destination-style weddings at country venues where guests don’t want to drive.

Airport transfers for arriving guests

Parents flying in from out of town, wedding party members arriving at YUL, groomsmen coming in the night before — our Lincoln Town Car, Lincoln MKT, and Sprinters handle flat-rate airport transfers with the same standards as the wedding day.

Departure transfers

For the morning after, when out-of-town guests need to get back to YUL for their flights home — we schedule pickup times and handle the departure day.

Licensed, insured, and there when it matters

Elite Limousines Montreal operates under a valid limousine permit issued by the Commission des transports du Québec (CTQ), with full commercial passenger insurance, and every chauffeur holds Quebec’s Class 4C commercial licence.

Wedding day requires a specific kind of professionalism — a chauffeur who opens the door for the bride, who moves the dress carefully, who knows when to speak and when not to, who stays out of the photographer’s frame. That’s what our team is trained for.

Documentation — permit, insurance certificate, chauffeur licensing — is available on request for wedding venues, planners, and couples who want to verify before booking.

Frequently asked questions

For peak season (June through September), 6 to 12 months out is typical. For shoulder season (April, May, October), 3 to 6 months. For off-peak dates, 2 to 3 months is often fine. Saturday dates in June and September book first — if you have a specific vehicle in mind (the Rolls-Royce Phantom, for example), book earlier rather than later.

No. Wedding rates use our standard hourly structure. Wedding packages bundle multiple vehicles and hours at a transparent rate — never an inflated one.

Yes, and this is one of the reasons couples book with us. We coordinate multi-vehicle wedding transport so the bridal car, bridal party, family, and guest shuttles all arrive coordinated — not scattered across the timeline.

Yes. For every wedding booking, a backup vehicle is on standby during peak wedding season. If something mechanical happens, we substitute immediately with an equivalent or upgraded vehicle at no additional cost.

Yes. Just Married signs, ribbons, small decorations — all standard. We ask that decorations don’t damage the interior (no tape or adhesive on leather or paint). Standard cleanup is included.

Yes. We regularly service West Island, Laval, Longueuil, Brossard, the South Shore, and destination venues in the Eastern Townships, Mont-Tremblant, and beyond. Distance-based flat rates apply for long-distance ceremonies and receptions.

We build buffers into the timeline for exactly this reason. Ceremonies running 10 or 15 minutes late is normal — we absorb it. For longer overruns, your chauffeur adjusts the route and communicates with your day-of contact.

Yes. During the pre-wedding consultation, we build photo stops into the timeline. On the day, the chauffeur works with the photographer to get the shots without rushing the couple.

Yes. Our stretch limousines, Sprinters, and the Rolls-Royce Phantom all accommodate full wedding attire — dresses, veils, tuxedos. Chauffeurs are trained to help load and unload without wrinkling.

Yes. Every chauffeur and dispatcher on our team serves you in English or French — especially relevant for Quebec-French wedding families and out-of-town Anglophone guests.

Both. À la carte hourly bookings for couples who want just one vehicle; wedding packages for multi-vehicle bookings that bundle the bridal car, bridal party, and guest transport at a transparent all-in rate.
